The Atlas Bridge

This one is also one of my very old concepts executed properly this time. I also enclosed older, never-published versions for comparison. The goal was to picture the old giant turned to stone, big enough so the people managed to build a city or a castle on top of his back. It was inspired by this medieval phrase: "nani gigantum humeris insidentes" (lat. We are dwarfs sitting on the shoulders of giants)
